Maria Isabel Carvalho Vilaça Carneiro Pessanha Moreira was born on June 28, 1969 in Lisbon and currently lives in Oporto.

I support the petition “One of us” because I believe that the key to the Europe which we all belong, is founded on core values such as Life. Throughout European history, citizens were fighting for a fairer Europe in defense of Core Values. It was an achievement of centuries of history and culture of civilization. It is part of the DNA of Europe to guarantee this value!

I believe that only with a European constitution advocate of the value of life indiscriminately we’ll have a fair and solid Europe.

Values such as of LIFE (first fundamental value), allows to solidify European society and culture.

My support for the One of Us initiative comes simply from unflinching a defense of human rights. The fact that the right to live and be born is being affected by the practical conveniences somebody else, even if that somebody are the parents of the future child, is an obvious violation of basic rights, parallel to many other that history has seen and the world continues to see. If we allow the life of somebody to be hostage of somebody else interest, the central principles of civilization are lost.
