These were the Pope’s words, translated from Italian: “I greet the Movement for Life and wish every success to the initiative called “One of Us” – thank you! – so that Europe may always be a place where every human being is protected in its dignity”.
The “One of Us” movement is collecting one million signatures in seven European Union countries in order to seek the legal protection of human life from its conception until its natural death.
